This is How Germany Promotes Safe Sex

Found on the wall at the doctor’s. It’s always been a common advertising practice to use a pop-culture reference as a vehicle for whatever you’re selling, but disguising condoms as badly painted cartoon footballers created by the clinic employees to get kids to use contraceptives is just laughable. Clearly the German Public Sector workers are a bit naive when it comes to understanding what will impress the judgmental youth of today.

The Taste of Things to Come

Watford choreo

British football fans have long since marvelled at the atmosphere created by fans in other countries, with flares and flags, synchronised bouncing or arm gestures from thousands of people in unison, scarves raised as each member of the spectacle screams the club anthem in delirium. But the same British fans who like 100 pictures of the ‘Yellow Wall’ in all its glory on Facebook are always very dismissive and cynical of any attempt from their own fans to recreate such epic gestures of support; “that’s not how we do it”. Saving Austria Salzburg

FC Union Austria Salzburg

Austria Salzburg have attracted a large amount of respect from the international football community for their stand against rising commercialism in football. After Red Bull Continue reading

Making the Trip to Lokeren

Travelling this weekend back to the Daknamstadion to support our friends at Sporting Lokeren. Game will be played Sunday evening at home to K.V. Oostende with tickets around 18 €. Is there anything I’m missing?

Hull City Sporting Lokeren

These guys know how to party and I have fond memories of the place. Beer inside the ground and all-standing home support in a working class provincial town; the spirit of the sport.
